#99 - The Bravery

 Number 99 comes from a band that we almost consider family around
here. Paul Driscoll's 2004 discovery, the Bravery

Legend has it, and by legend we mean wikipedia, Paul was on the
treadmill one day in 2004 and came across the Bravery on his Ipod. He
downloaded the track from some blog site and loved it. He demanded that we
immediately put it on the air.

The rest is history. "An Honest Mistake" became one of the most
played WFNX songs of 2005 and they played our Miracle on Tremont Street Show
that year with Alkaline Trio and Morning Wood.

The Sun and the Moon was released in the summer of 2007 and the
Bravery celebrated the success of their big new single, Believe, by playing
that years WFNX Best Music Poll concert. They headlined Avalon.

This past fall they released their third CD, Stir the Blood, and
played the 2009 Best Music Poll at City Hall Plaza.
