Their sound of lo-fi, dirty guitar, fast, loud, and a bit weird broke into the mainstream with the 2001 release “White Blood Cells.”  Critics fell for them instantly calling them the best band since the Sex Pistols.  Plus, their video for “Fell in Love with a Girl” got them on MTV and nominated for a VMA.

Yeah, on my last day, Fletcher surprised me with a treat. Not only did I get Dunkin Donuts this morning, but he got to ridicule me on air too! I told him I did high school theatre though. That showed him.

We had a great match up today as we saw Weekender Christine go for her 5th week in a row! But standing in her way was Jason Santos! fresh from Hell's kitchen who stayed and chatted with us. It was so fun!
