New England Product: Local events to ring in 2009!
Happy holidays NEP friends. I hope Santa found your homes and left lots of goodies under your "holiday shrub." I ran away to Atlanta, GA, to spend time with some family and attempt to avoid my inevitable stocking full of coal. I haven't behaved very well this year, as any of you who've run into me at various shows can attest to.
So, to wrap up the tornado that was 2008, last night on New England Product we played the highlights of local music from the year. You can check out the playlist here.
If you want to bid farewell to '08 in style, there's a plethora of happenings around town on Wednesday. If you're like Dave Duncan & me, you'll probably prefer one of the events listed below, which DON'T require you to drop megabucks or get fancy (but you can if you want).

Also, don't forget to tune in to WFNX at 3 PM on Wednesday (New Year's Eve) when The Sandbox hosts the countdown of the years top 100 songs. If you end up starting your party early and miss it, don't worry because it will be replayed on New Year's Day at noon.
We'll be back with the best in New England's local rock in 2009, so tune in to WFNX next Sunday at 10 PM!
xoxo, Jillian
