Coldplay is eager to hit the road this summer with their fourth, still untitled album. The band is currently mixing the record, which is expected to be out early this summer. Coldplay will then launch a summer tour of North America and Europe. Band manager Dave Holmes tells Billboard, "We're just about finished. They're in the final mixing. They'll start mastering, and away we go." He adds, "I think it's their best album. They've really delivered. It's a fantastic record. They've really put the work in."
The Foo Fighters are taking on some of the most powerful superheroes on the planet, as Dave Grohl & co. have sued Marvel Comics over the use of two of their songs. According to E! Online, the Foos claim that Marvel used "substantial excerpts" of "Best Of You" and "Free Me" in a trailer for the upcoming animated series Wolverine and the X-Men, without the band's permission. In other Foo news, they have added three summer shows for July in Seattle, Portland and Morrison, CO.
Radiohead have been confirmed as headliners for two nights of the All Points West Music & Arts Festival. According to multiple reports, the band will play August 8 and 9 at Liberty State Park outside of New York City. All Points West comes from the creators of the Coachella festival.
