FNX FILES [THURSDAY - 3/27]

The initial lineup for the Canadian edition of the Virgin Festival has been unveiled, with Foo Fighters and Oasis headlining. Also on the bill are Bloc Party, Paul Weller, Spiritualized, Stereophonics and more. The third Virgin Festival Toronto will take place September 6 and 7. The U.S. version will be held once again at Pimlico Raceway outside Baltimore on August 9 and 10.

Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo is currently running a YouTube contest asking fans to help write a song with him. Thus far, "Let's Write A Sawng" has yielded an 'attitude' and a title, "'80s Radio." Cuomo is now asking for fans to submit some chords for the tune. As for Weezer, their sixth studio album is expected out this June.
