The Sandbox was excited this morning when they were talking about The Rolling Stones 100 bands to watch, and Low v. Diamond made the list. “What is Luke holding in his hand, booze,” Fletcher said. Low v. Diamond and Carolina Liar are apparently the nicest guys in the world.

- Sox devastating “evil empire” NY last night 11-3, and it may be the last time they play in Yankees Stadium. Sox go for the sweep tonight, and Josh Beckett says that the tingling is gone. Yay!

- ABC news producer Asa Eslocker was arrested in Denver after blocking a building, facing charges of interference, trespassing, and failure to obey a lawful order. “He’s probably a douchebag media guy, but if you’re not doing anything wrong, then does he really have to move?” Ed asked.
- Mackenzie Phillips from “One Day at a Time” was busted for cocaine and heroin possession in an airport. That led to Fletcher asking listeners how they would get drugs, smuggle through the airport or buy at the destination. Some tips: put the drugs in a ziploc bag and put it in a shampoo bottle or keep it on you in your underwear. “Don’t do drugs kids, stay in school.”

- Shawne Merriman from the Chargers has 2 torn knee ligaments, and is still going to play, regardless of the fact that several doctors have told him to have surgery.

- Minicattle.com sells mini cows, just like regular cows except they’ve been genetically altered.
- “They put the little cow next to the big cow, and this cow is tiny. It’s teeny tiny,” said Charlie.
- While the DJs on the Sandbox listed off lots of qualities, callers corrected their misconceptions, like producing milk. Charlie even called his wife for information. Apparently they have to get pregnant first.

- The SuperSonics from Seattle will be getting a new name and colors for their new home in Oklahoma City. The choices: Thunder, Energy, Wind, Marshalls, Barons, and Bison. While one reporter said it was going to be Thunder, the Sandbox believes the only acceptable name is the Marshalls. “What is the mascot going to be?” Chris Forsberg asked.
On the WTF Line, there was a new development with Big Jim. He seems to be a dealer now, too. And has lots of bootleg DVDs. On top of that, callers needed to explain to him what Special Ed was going to do when he made a bet to pee in a cup in Jim’s office.
