Mega Robo Thunder Phone Query - Are We Jerks?

Look at those faces!  Those are the faces of angels, not of rude dicks.

Over the weekend we ran into a Sandboxette who had expressed on-air an interest in taking Ed out on a date.

After the typical chit-chat Ed and Fletcher jumped on the B Line and went on their merry way, leaving her alone in the Kenmore station.

It has been suggested that they should have invited her along.

Today's question: Were Fletcher and ed rude for not asking her to join them.

Leave your thought, input and insults in the comments.

Jesus Christ! Does Fletcher live in Del Boca Vista?

    1. YES, you should have invited her. She was being polite in not inviting herself along, properly waiting for the invite. She was not a stalker, proof by this, and also by not just showing up at the next bar. You blew it Ed. Unless you only like crazy stalker chicks.

    2. I buy concert tickets all the time, and usually get some one to go with me, but not always. If I really want to see a band, I will go by myself. No big deal.

Ed, the woman asked you out on a date...I understand you had one girlfriend in your life, but how do you miss on that?

I dont think it was rude. You have her number. Give her a call and apologize anyway. Girls always like to know you feel bad reguardless.

If she is good looking and seems like a good time call her and ask her out. stop being a pussy!

    OMG! It's "Scoops" Fletcher!

You should have had "Scoops" get the whole story on that girl, see?

'Cause that's what roving reporters like "Scoops" Fletcher do!

You were not rude at all, if she was so smart she wouldn't of put herself in that situation.

If you don't want to hangout with someone, you don't have too. I would never of invited myself along or expected someone else to do so, but after hearing the show this morning, I doubt you will be seeing her again.

Do you never want to get laid ever again?  Wow, way to screw that up.  She went to an Ivy and she still wants to date you even though you're a smidge obsessed with action figures and are a man-child.  Wow.  Screwed that one up big time.

Fletcher, please explain how you can in good conscience let Ed leave the house dressed like that. It's no wonder he's dateless. He needs a wardrobe make-over, no Ivy league woman or man wants to date a 38 year old dressed in orange Pumas, green tee shirt and whatever excuse that is for a hooded jacket that, by the way, is one size too small.  Silly man-boy.

I have to agree that Ed's actions make him gay.

    1.  Chick says she'll help him not be gay.

    2.  She shows up - obviously an invite to a party in her pants.

    3.  Ed CHOOSES to go out drinking with his friends instead.

    3.  Ed = Gay

As for whether you were rude - no way.    She showed up unexpectedly, it doesn't mean you have to change your plans if you don't want to.

Oh, and I am a female who has been to concerts by herself with no interest in being picked up - my friends are lame - why miss out just cause they suck?

@BVSC - I was wearing my green Chuck's in that picture.  I know how to coordinate!  And that jacket is money!

@ Special Ed, of course you were, isn't everyday is St. Patty's day for you?

Listen here honey baby, take that money jacket and donate it to the homeless shelter, nope, never mind, I'd be willing to bet a 10 oz rib eye even they wouldn't wear it.

Well as a girl who thinks that Ed is adorable and funny I would have been a little bummed that he didn't ask me to go out on a date. But he has the right to turn down whoever he wants, even if it is really dumb on his part it doesn't make him a jerk.
