Mega Robo Thunder Phone Query - Are We Ruining Halloween?

Have the adults ruined it for the kids?  

Those of us without kids just use Halloween as an excuse to dress like a slut and get hammered.  

Young parents make their kids go to school's and malls to do their Trick or Treating.

Have we sucked the fun out of Halloween?

  Halloween is also to ward of evil spirits. In that case we should lock the kids up in the basement to keep them safe on halloween and the whole winter :)

  No Way!  Our whole family gets into Halloween!  We all dress up, but none of us dressed slutty.( I was a witch with warts and all) We have a big dinner before going out, where all the grown up bring something to share.  After trick or treating the kids get baths to wash off the sticky grossness and we all crash from the sugar high and go to bed! Fun for all!

  As long as there is candy I'd have to say kids should stop complaining.  Though I do agree that trick or treating around the neighborhood is the way to go.  :)

  The trick-or-treaters grew up! Trick or Treating hasn't been around for very long (ca 1950s) and it was huge in the past few decades. Now, those kids are grown up and still want to participate. Wear what you want .. not any different than a bathing suit at the beach ...
