We will have plenty of food, great music and make sure to bring your ID to party in two Budweiser Beer Gardens during the show. WFNX & HARD ROCK CALLING FLY AWAY
OFFICIAL SWEEPSTAKES RULES

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

2. Eligibility. The HARD ROCK CALLING FLY AWAY Sweepstakes is for MA, NH, RI residents living in MA, NH or RI, 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of The Phoenix Media Communications Group, Hard Rock Café Boston, Hard Rock Cafe International (USA), Inc., American Airlines, OneWorld Alliance, and each of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies, and other agents, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with such employees, are not eligible.

3. Entry. The Hard Rock Calling Flyaway Sweepstakes will begin at 6p.m. (E.S.T.) on May 9th and all entries must be received by 9:30p.m. on May 9th .

Enter in person by completing an Official Entry Form available at Hard Rock Café Boston on Saturday, May 9th from 6pm – 9:30pm and depositing your entry form in the entry box.

One (1) entry per person, must be eighteen (18) years of age or older to enter, entrants must have a valid passport at the time of entry and visas eligible, contest winner is responsible for paying any taxes that are required by the state of Massachusetts in conjunction with The Hard Rock Café Calling Flyaway.

Sponsor(s) will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries. All entries become the property of Sponsor, and none will be returned.

4. Prizes and Odds: All persons entering (450 people maximum) the Hard Rock Café Boston to see Starsailor perform for FREE on May 9th are eligible to win. One (1) winner will be drawn on Saturday May 9th before the start of the performance, approximately at 10pm. One (1) winner and guest will receive roundtrip airfare from BOSTON to London, 3 nights hotel accommodations – dual occupancy (check in June 26 and check out on June 29), 2 tickets to all three days of the Hard Rock Calling music festival, Big Bus City Tour Tickets, Airport transfers via train, $250 spending cash (winner only).

5. Winner Notification and Acceptance. Winner will be notified onsite, at the Hard Rock Café on May 9th. If the winner is not still in attendance, he/she will be contacted by phone on May 9th by a Hard Rock Café staff member.

6. Participation. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of The Hard Rock Calling Flyaway Sweepstakes as solely determined by Sponsor. In the event The Hard Rock Calling Flyaway Sweepstakes is compromised by tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor, which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of The Hard Rock Calling Flyaway Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate The Hard Rock Calling Flyaway Sweepstakes. Should The Hard Rock Calling Flyaway Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.

7. Limitations of Liability. By entering The Hard Rock Calling Flyaway Sweepstakes, entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with The Hard Rock Calling Flyaway Sweepstakes, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action, and entrant waives his or her right to a jury trial for such disputes, claims, and causes of action; (2) any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering The Hard Rock Calling Flyaway Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for actual out-of-pocket expenses.

8. Construction. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of any contestant and Sponsor, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Massachusetts without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of Massachusetts, or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Massachusetts. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.

9. General Release. By enteringThe Hard Rock Calling Flyaway Sweepstakes, contestants release Phoenix Media Communications Group, , any other promotional sponsors, and each of their respective affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, representatives, partners and agents from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes or with the acceptance, possession or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light).

10. Sponsor. The Hard Rock Café Calling Flyaway is sponsored by The Phoenix Media Communications Group., Hard Rock Café Boston, Hard Rock Cafe International (USA), Inc., RPMC, Inc., American Airlines, OneWorld Alliance, whose decisions regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to The Hard Rock Calling Flyaway Sweepstakes. Let me just start by saying I LOVE THIS TOWN. It is the best place on Earth as far as I am concerned - i like showing up, behaving like an ass, i even like leaving. That being said this is our room -

nope that is not the camera!

Who is going to save the day here in Vegas? Two of the best people I know in this world...Jimmy Del Ray & Jack Daniels! This just showed up to our room and we couldn't be happier.

Mormons..where?

I let Charlie have another crack at getting arrested after my 300 mile trip through Utah. What did this trip include you may ask? Well it starts with our car, this one below but green and this long stretch of road with no service stations...

There is a video that will follow this blog but let's just say that when a gas light goes on it means you are low on fuel. When you pass a sign that says no service for the next 40 miles, they mean it. After long sections of my white knuckles on the wheel we made it to a Shell station - 20.6 gallons were purchases. The car manuel says the tank is 20 gallons with a max fill capacity of 20.5 gallons. Fumes! We made it on fumes!

On the bright side here are some of the views we had after we got gas.

A few miles after we hit up the Black Dragon Rest Area to take these photos it started snowing, yup we are in shorts with the AC on and it was snowing. Go us. 200 miles to Vegas!

Hey Denver, can we get out of the car?

Fresh out of the shower, new clothes, teeth brushed and feeling great (this is a lie!). Part 1 of this trip, the part that couldn't be done, has been mastered. Five tanks of gas through the Thrifty rental car, 1 AMEX card being turned off and a speeding ticket from Charlie later, we are in Denver With the Rockies in the background we blew past Coors field, brew pubs and coffee shops to our downtown Sheraton hotel. Time to get muffed up, who want what?

Sunrise in Omaha

You may know this already but the sunrise looks exactly the same in Nebraska; yet there is something missing...steaks! Where the hell are the steaks? They can get delivered to my house in Melrose but all we have seen thus far is an 18 wheeler and a billboard bearing the Omaha Steaks name. We want steaks! We haven't even seen a restaurant advertising that they serve these pieces of dry ice packed flesh I so enjoy.

Alas, we have no pictures to post b/c we haven't done anything except drive since 2:30am and there isn't a thing out here. We did however make our hotel reservations in Denver using this AT&T laptop card they were so nice to give us. That's right baby, DENVER - 31 hours straight and now the party will start.

This is the furthest city west on our journey that we will be able to eat ourselves stupid at Dunkin Donuts. We have enjoyed your flatbreads, donuts, waters, latte, coffee, clean restrooms and ice tea but now there is just us and the flats of the mid west.
