The trails on Wildcat Mountain, often referred to as pure vertical fun, includes the Snowcat Novice Area for learning, cruisers like the 2 and ¾ mile beginner Polecat Trail from the Summit, bumps, glades, and backcountry tree-skiing. There is even a 10-mile expert cross-country ski trail down the backside of Wildcat to Jackson Village. The Wildcat Express, a high-speed detachable quad chairlift, which was installed in 1997, is the fastest and longest detachable quad chair lift in New Hampshire – going from the base to the summit in just over 6 minutes. Over the years, Wildcat has become a unique and beautiful place for the whole family to learn to ski.
